We finally arrived on Marrekech airport a little after 7pm to find our suitcase had been damaged :-(
After finally getting our claim details we set off to our Riad - fortunately our driver had stayed after we hadn't appeared with the rest if the flight passengers whilst we waited for our baggage claim to be sorted.
We knew our Riad wasn't accessible by car but we hadn't be prepared for the waking down multiple dark alley ways wondering exactly where our driver was taking us. Fortunately he knew exactly where we were going and we were greeted at our beautiful and surprisingly peaceful Riad.
After a lovely dinner of tajine and Moroccan pastries for pudding we went to bed, full and content :-)
