We arrived at our hostel at 5am this morning and went straight to bed, sleeping through until 10am.
I woke up with a stinking cold but at least my throat isn't too bad today and I have my voice back.
We had a leisurely morning (what was left by the time we were ready!) and afternoon exploring Puno, buying our bus tickets for Bolivia and boat tickets to visit the islands on Lake Titicata.
As we walked along the lake we saw kids flying kites and playing football just like any seaside destination in the UK.
A little further along we came to the entrance of the port. There were pedalos of all different colours and designs with Peruvian families having an enjoyable afternoon.
This town feels much more reminiscent of those in Malaysia and no where near as touristy as Cusco, Nazca or Arquipa. It's also a fair bit cooler and it rained this afternoon!
Tomorrow we once again have an earlyish start so we are spending the rest of the day recovering and relaxing.
